Do not expect a flight from any destination

According to the Airports Authority, any airline that wants to fly to Israel can do so as long as it meets the 3,000-passenger limit.

In other words, the total number of passengers of all airlines that will land in Israel per day will not exceed 3,000, and the Authority will take care of that.

"We are organized for this and we have doubled the corona checkpoints at all entrances to the country because of the increase, and all the check-in complexes are becoming check-in areas for entrants," she told Walla!

Deputy Spokeswoman for the Airports Authority Lisa Dvir.

Of course, these are 3,000 Israeli passengers, not foreigners, with 2,600 people entering yesterday and 1,800 passengers yesterday.

At Ramon Airport near Eilat, where there are currently no flights from abroad, the domestic airport continues to operate, and there are about 20-16 flights per day. According to Dvir, there are currently no permits for passengers from Ramon, and if the airport opens for international flights there as well In

addition to expanding the number of passengers who can come here, the government has allowed airlines flying to the country of cargo - not to return to the country of origin with necessarily cargo, but with passengers. And there are airlines that will be economically unviable to operate flights, as their country of origin has seen an increase in morbidity or closure, such as Italy imposing a closure on Rome and Milan.

Domestic flights continue as scheduled.

Greece will open to Israelis next month

Meanwhile, Israel is in contact with a number of countries around the world that will honor the Israeli green passport, including: the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Greece, Morocco, Cyprus, Estonia, Georgia and Russia.

Under the agreements to be signed, Israelis with green passports will be able to land in these countries without the need for isolation or Corona testing.

According to the Greek media, Israelis will be able to enter the country without isolation or corona testing from April 15, that is, after the Passover holiday but before the popular summer for tourists.

EU residents will also be able to arrive in Greece without restrictions in mid-April, but the rest of the world will only be tourists from May 15 this year.

Cyprus is also expected to join an agreement with Greece, and allow vaccinated Israelis to reach it during April-May, but no agreement has yet been signed with it.

It should be noted that in the two neighboring countries that are popular with Israelis, there has recently been an increase in the number of people infected with the plague.
