In an interview with the new administration in Washington's attempts to return to the nuclear deal, Ganz made it clear that Israel is not sitting idly by, saying it is working to improve its self-defense capabilities, and its offensive capabilities, all the time.

"Iran has violated every clause in the agreement with them, they are lying in every way possible," he claimed during the interview.

"Iran's ambitions to develop nuclear weapons must be curbed," Ganz added. "If the world stops them, it will be very good - but if not, we will have to stand alone and defend ourselves."

In addition to the nuclear project, Ganz also referred to the Iranian establishment in Lebanon, saying that Hezbollah has hundreds of thousands of missiles in the land of cedars.

Ganz even pulled out a map in which he pointed to the terrorist organization's missile array and noted that it uses the civilian population as a human shield.

"You can see forces, separators, launch sites on the map - everything is aimed at civilian targets, and everything is in civilian areas," the minister said, noting that any point marked on the map would be in danger of destruction in the event of a conflict between Israel and the organization.
