In Germany, more than a thousand deaths related to the emerging corona virus were recorded within 24 hours for the first time since the beginning of the epidemic.

The French Press Agency quoted the Robert Koch Institute for Public Health Monitoring as saying that 1,129 deaths and 22,459 cases of the new Corona virus were recorded in one day.

The largest number of deaths was recorded before that last Wednesday, reaching 962 deaths.

Brazil recorded the largest number of injuries in Latin America, reaching 7.5 million.

In a related context, a parliamentarian from Louisiana died of Covid 19 at the age of 41, becoming the first member of the US Congress to announce his death with the new Corona virus in the United States, the country most affected by the epidemic in the world.

Louisiana Governor John Bill Edwards announced the death of Republican Luke Letlow, elected from the state's Fifth Circuit, who was due to take the oath next Sunday.
