Hapoel Tel Aviv has returned to training in recent days after a number of team members were found verified for Corona, which postponed the league game against Hapoel Gilboa / Galil.
As a result of the Corona, guard John Dibler is set to dress for the game against Nes Ziona on Thursday (21:00, 5PLUS).
Another player who will make his debut for the team is the American domestic player Justin Tillman, who has joined Hapoel in recent weeks and will strengthen the squad until the end of the season.
Tillman is expected to step into the shoes of JP Tokoto who is not scheduled to return to activity until the end of March.
In contrast to Tillman, Hapoel has not currently added any players to the guard position, and a decision has currently been made to continue with the existing staff.
The team said that the candidates offered to them were not good enough, or did not fit for various reasons, and that they would not add a player "just to add a player".
Gabe York will continue to have the opportunity to prove himself alongside Yam Madar and Bar Timor, hoping that together with Danny Franco who has so far played just one game as the team's coach, they will be able to turn the bowl on its head and take the team out of national relegation.
In recent days, Lior Eliyahu has started training with the team in order to keep fit.
Eliyahu, who retired from basketball at the end of last season, is not supposed to join the Reds who are laden with inside positions, and he chose to train at Hapoel both because of the proximity to his home and because of his personal relationship with Danny Franco.
