On the occasion of Teacher's Day, the Damascus Teachers Syndicate today honored 106 outstanding students, children of teachers and martyrs, at the Cultural Center of Kfarsousa.

The head of the Damascus Teachers Syndicate, the era of the King, stated in a speech that the honor comes within the framework of the union’s social role and an appreciation and gratitude for the efforts of the teachers who put the national interest on the top of their priorities despite the challenges presented by the terrorist war and the economic blockade. It is also a dedication to the concept of excellence, which constitutes a basic building block in the stage of intellectual reconstruction. .

Al-Kanj emphasized that the students ’superiority and the continuation of the educational process is one of the fruits of the valiant army’s victories against terrorism and a beautiful response from the students to the homeland on the one hand and their martyr fathers who offered the precious and precious to defend it.

In turn, Assistant Minister of Education Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Hammad explained in a statement to SANA's delegate that the Ministry and the Teachers Union always and continuously honor outstanding teachers and students to motivate them to do more effort and give on the one hand and encourage the rest of the students and pupils in schools to possess the corner of excellence on the other hand.

SANA monitored the opinions of a number of honorees, where the student Rasha Moussa expressed her happiness with the honor, considering that excellence is the result of a joint effort between parents, the student and the teacher. An effort took them to this stage of excellence.

For her part, the student Batoul Thaer Merhej, from the Schools of Martyrs' Sons and Daughters, dedicated her superiority to her martyr father and her mother, who was a teacher for their effort, effort and generosity.

In turn, the school, Fatima Yunus, showed that the honor constitutes a greater incentive for the teacher to innovate and excel in his work and to deliver his message to his students to the fullest.

The honor was attended by the head of the Syrian Teachers Syndicate, Waheed Al-Zaal, the directors of education in Damascus and its countryside, and a number of members of the executive office of the Teachers Syndicate.
