He defended the station and its equipment, refused to leave it, and remained at the helm of his work with his eight colleagues despite the terrorists' siege of it for a long time, and after liberating it from terrorism, residents of about 7 towns in Eastern Ghouta enjoy electricity without many of them knowing the story of Saqba station guard and director Abdul Aziz Al-Narji.

Regarding the details of the story, Al-Narji tells the SANA delegate: During the period of the terrorists' presence in the town, they tried several times to enter the station and steal equipment, and every time we dealt with them in cooperation with the people, adding: After the terrorists tried to enter several times, I sought help from my colleagues on duty with one of the town’s people working in the field of blacksmithing And welding in order to close and protect rooms that contain equipment and important electrical equipment, in addition to protecting windows and external doors.

After the terrorist threats intensified, the fiftieth director decided to move the equipment to his home to be able to protect it more despite the danger to his life.

Al-Narji remembers the siege imposed on them by the terrorists and his suffering with his colleagues, especially from the scarcity of water, as he helped one of the town’s residents to dig a well within the station to be used in managing their daily affairs until the army’s bravery liberated the town. Absolutely that I did my best to preserve and defend the station because of my belief that we are all soldiers for the country and with everyone's solidarity, their capabilities can be preserved.

After the army had liberated the towns of Eastern Ghouta, the Ministry of Electricity and the Damascus Countryside Electricity Corporation rehabilitated the Saqba station and carried out a complete maintenance of its equipment, testing the savings and the diesel group. Their duty to the fullest.
