After eight consecutive league victories, the Narazuri have been disappointed in the last two games when they lost to Sampdoria and ended in a draw against Roma and lost height at the top.
Now Inter will try, at least in the cup, to do the job when they host Fiorentina.
The Purples finally managed to win the final round with a 0-1 home draw against Cagliari, in what was overall their second win in the last nine games (the second was 0-3 away against Juventus).
In the meeting between the two in the league, Inter managed to win 3: 4 thanks to two late goals by Romulo Lukaku (87) and Danilo D'Ambrosio (89).

The trophy holder is one of the least stable teams in the league this season and that is what places it in sixth place with 31 points from 48 so far.
Now Napoli will host the leader of the second league Ampoli and very much hope not to stumble against it.

Andrea Pirlo's team will try to reach the quarter-finals of the Cup when they host the weak Genoa, who beat Bologna 0: 2 in the last round and managed to rise above the red line.
