The traditional NBA All-Star Game will be held tonight (Sunday through Monday, 3 p.m., Sports 5) without two Philadelphia stars - Joel Ambide and Ben Simmons, who came in contact with a verified Corona patient - the team's book.
Ambide was set to start in Kevin Durant's quintet, which also includes Kyrie Irving, Bradley Bill, Yannis Antocompo, Jaylen Brown, James Harden, Zac Lavin, Ben Simmons, Julius Randall, Domantas Savonis, Jason Taitum and Nikola Wojciech.
Simmons was set to step down from the bench of LeBron James' squad, which includes Stephen Kerry, Luca Doncic, Kwai Leonard, Nikola Jokic, Mike Conley, Damian Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, Chris Paul, Paul George, Zion Williamson and Rudy Gover.
"The NBA's biggest nightmare is the corona eruption of some of the best players in the world in Atlanta," tweeted Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
"Ambide and Simmons did not come in contact with their friends here."
The two will not be replaced by other players, so each team will play with one player less tonight.
