English football club Liverpool announced its desire to sign Algerian defender Issa Mandi, Real Betis, to solve his problems in the defense line.
According to the Spanish website Larzon, Liverpool will find competition from Milan, which in turn wants to strengthen its defense line by contracting Mandy for free during the next summer transfer period, by virtue of the fact that the Algerian defender's contract with Betis will expire at the end of the current season.
If Liverpool succeeds in winning the contract race with Mandy, the Algerian defender will be the second Arab player in the Reds, who currently includes the Egyptian Mohamed Salah.
Mandy, 29, joined Betis in 2016 from Reims Stadium in France for 3 million pounds.
