Barcelona's legend Lionel Messi has set a new record in the number of free kicks recorded with clubs he played in the Spanish League, surpassing Juventus' Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sky Sports reported that Argentine Messi scored 48 goals and surpassed Ronaldo, who scored 47 goals by one goal after scoring a free kick against Granada yesterday in the 17th round of the Spanish Premier League.
Barcelona is third in the table with 34 points, made by Messi and Frenchman Griezmann.
