Borussia Moenchengladbach advanced to sixth place in the German first division football league by defeating its guest Werder Bremen 1-0, to win the team its third victory in four matches this year.
Gladbach, who will meet Manchester City in the Champions League round of 16 next month this year, has not yet lost and raised his score to 28 points compared to 18 points for Bremen in 12th place.
Bayern Munich, leaders with 36 points, will visit Augsburg tomorrow.
