Argentine Facundo Campazzo played 15 minutes and scored 3 points in the Denver Nuggets' overwhelming victory over Portland Trail Blazers 129-96, in the Colorado team's last preseason rehearsal before the start of the NBA regular season, which is scheduled for next Tuesday.

The former Peñarol from Mar del Plata and Real Madrid entered with two minutes to go to the end of the first quarter and took the place of PJ Dozier, while his team was already comfortably up on the scoreboard.

In the first half of the game, the Argentine was active with

Campazzo started the second half as a starter, but only spent four minutes on the court.

In that period, he missed three doubles and a triple and committed four

personal fouls

- five on his total account - for which he was replaced.

About the end, he returned to complete a quarter of an hour of play.

Paul Millsap with 24 points and Michael Porter Jr. with 20 were Denver's figures, while Portland's top scorer was CJ McCollum (26).

Campazzo had already played in the two previous presentations of the Colorado franchise in which he was able to show the variety of virtues that allowed him to land at the age of 29 in the mecca of basketball.

In his first game with the Nuggets he faced the Golden State Warriors and was on the court for 24 minutes in which he added eight points (2-3 in doubles, 1-3 in triples, 1-2 in free), three assists, one rebound and a recovery.

Facundo Campazzo scored 8 points in 24 minutes in his first NBA preseason game with the Denver Nuggets.

In his second presentation, also against Portland, the Cordoba player only played nine minutes and 36 seconds by decision of coach Michael Malone.

However, he managed to provide a rebound, three assists, a steal and a block, all while failing both three-point attempts he tried.

Campazzo was a revelation in the debut and called attention to his temperance to manage the team and leave it to nothing of a great comeback against the Warriors.

In the second game, meanwhile, Malone gave the point guard less prominence and dosed his minutes on the court while waiting for the Nuggets to debut on points.

The official opening for Campazzo will be on Wednesday, the day after the start of the league, against the Sacramento Kings.
