The primary school in Eglharting is the next major project in the Kirchseeon market town.
Around 15 million euros are earmarked for them in the investment program up to 2024.

The Eglharting school is now a constant theme in Kirchseeon.
Even in the run-up to the local elections around a year ago, all candidates largely agreed that there was a need for action.
Among other things, investments were made in fire protection.
Walls were drawn in and additional doors were installed.
There are also temporary solutions such as stair scaffolding.
In the meantime, other large-scale projects by the municipality such as the construction of the children's home and the school renovation in Kirchseeon have largely been completed or are at a very advanced stage.
Investments of around 22 million euros by 2024
For the years 2020 to 2024, investments of around 22 million euros are planned in the program.
This includes the largest chunk of 15 million euros for the school in Eglharting.
According to the town hall, the actual size cannot yet be estimated.
Different variants are still to be checked and then presented to the municipal council.
According to the current budget, all investments would have to be financed by taking out loans.
According to the town hall, loans of around 15 million euros are currently planned for the financial planning period.
The debt level of the municipality would increase from currently (as of 01.01.2021) around 6.15 million euros to 19.15 million by the end of 2024.
It also became clear at the meeting that the planning of the future desirable measures as well as the amount of the amounts stated in the financial plan do not represent a fundamental approval of the measures, but are only intended to show the financial effects of the corresponding decisions on the budget of the Kirchseeon market.
It should therefore serve the market councils to make decisions before the corresponding resolutions.
