After learning that a questionable Google Maps image of the summer of 2019 was posted on social networks, likely to represent one of its agents, the DDSP of the North opened an internal investigation into a individual behavior, which she necessarily condemns
, ”wrote the Northern Police on her Twitter account.
The photograph was taken in the summer of 2019 in a street in Roubaix by a Google vehicle, responsible for mapping the streets of the country for the Google Maps online service.
As usual, the company has blurred the distinctive signs of the individuals appearing in its photos - the faces of the police officers in the vehicle and the license plate of the latter therefore remain unknown.
The investigation will have to repeat the intervention reports dating back to last year.
The image has, since its “
buzz
”, been removed from Google Maps.
