Oil rose more than 4 percent, its highest level in more than a year, after OPEC and its allies agreed to keep production unchanged until the end of next April.
Reuters reported that Brent crude rose $ 67.2, equivalent to 4.2 percent, to determine the settlement price at $ 66.74 a barrel, after rising to $ 67.75, reaching its peak since January 2020.
US crude futures closed higher at $ 2.55, or 4.2 percent, at $ 63.83, after they had also peaked since January 2020 at $ 64.86.
