A roofer from North Rhine-Westphalia causes outrage: he threatens his employees with immediate termination if they get vaccinated against the corona virus.

A roofer from North Rhine-Westphalia causes outrage: he threatens his employees with immediate termination if they get vaccinated against the corona virus.

  • Roofer

    Uwe Tecktrup

    from

    North

Rhine-Westphalia threatens his company's Facebook page with a

    termination

    for employees who are

    vaccinated

    against

    Corona

    .

  • For the most part, the reactions are judgmental.

  • A short time later, the

    vaccine opponent

    rows

    back and spreads confused claims.

Lengerich - It sounds like a really bad joke and yet,

Uwe Mentrup

leaves

no doubt, it's serious: On Facebook, the managing director of a

roofing company

in the North Rhine-Westphalian town of Lengerich

threatened

his employees with immediate

termination

if they should oppose

Corona

vaccinate.

Uwe Mentrup, roofer and opponent of vaccinations, threatens to lay off and rants about ministers

Mentrup

writes

on Facebook,

somewhat defensively

: "Anyone who is

injected

with unreliable

vaccines

, which many experts around the world have warned about, endanger the stability of our processes in the company!" After a paragraph about an allegedly associated "responsibility for all employees", he leaves

Roofer

once again to the full: "We reject experiments with the performance of our company in favor of the pharmaceutical industry!"

Roofer threatens his employees with immediate termination in the event of a vaccination.

That would be ineffective, but the announcement still works.

Mentrup

does not want to know anything about the

fact that he could seriously endanger the health of his workforce with such a blackmail

attitude

: "If you don't understand that, you have to look elsewhere for work." The post quickly went viral on Facebook and earned the almost expected reactions;

while he was

cheered

by conspirators and

opponents of vaccinations

, many users expressed their horror.

Vaccination opponent Mentrup deletes his post and publishes a new one

Shortly afterwards, the Facebook post disappeared;

Mentrup

had obviously deleted it.

But not because of the fact that he has neither the right nor the possibility to track who of his employees

has been

vaccinated

against

Corona

.

Or because of the fact that such a

dismissal

without

notice would

not have stood before any labor court in this country.

And not because of his irresponsible behavior, which many comments had pointed out to him.

On the contrary, the roofer immediately published a second article.

And this article gives an insight into

Uwe Mentrup's

actual motivation.

He states that he employs the “best employees an employer could wish for” and adds: “I have not forbidden any of them to vaccinate [sic] (which would not be necessary for all of them) or prescribed it.” He claims that "old and defenseless people

would be

vaccinated in

some

cases

without professional information

" and that "ministers simply decide on professions, have to be

vaccinated

or lose their job."

Roofer Uwe Mentrup rows back: Vaccination opponents do not want to have meant it with the termination

He never planned his staff a

Corona

-

vaccination

ban, also was "this action" with its employees "and denied the purpose of this Postet explained" have been.

The

roofer

does not

explain exactly what the purpose is,

but adds: "None of the haters [sic] here has never

commented

critically

on the planned

compulsory vaccinations

for the nursing staff, which I find very worrying!" He continues: "But if nobody dares to open their mouth, then I'll do it for you!"

Nööö, I would get vaccinated & then, if he was dismissed, take him to the labor court!

The termination would be ineffective there.

If I quit the guy myself without a new job, I get a ban from the office.

The comments below his post are partly sarcastic, partly clear.

One commenter writes: “Just show how irresponsible you are and as an employee you really have to consider whether you shouldn't be looking for a new job.” Another Facebook user says: “Once again it becomes clear: Germany has a real educational problem! "He is followed by a visibly upset commentator:" Nobody has the right to spread such nonsense and lies just because Harald sent you a critical video from alleged

vaccine

experts

on YouTube

.

The carers die away in the old people's homes and they do not want to be

vaccinated

without any reasonable justification

. "

Nursing staff condemned the threat of dismissal from vaccination opponent Tecktrup

Another comment draws attention to the danger of such a blackmail attitude: “Nobody has the right to spread such nonsense and lies just because Harald sent you a critical video on YouTube by alleged

vaccine

experts.

The carers die away in the old people's homes and they do not want to be

vaccinated

without any reasonable justification

. "

Yeah yeah

This is always particularly believable when the shit is flying towards you.

- Skjall 🇩🇪🇮🇱 (@Skjall) January 16, 2021

"One of the employees of a nursing ward expresses himself clearly and distinctly:" Greetings from nursing - hospital - CoVid ward.

I am delighted that last week I received the first dose of a vaccine that has been

tested

in one of the largest

vaccination studies in

the world and declared safe and ready for use by hundreds of professionals around the world.

But what do these people know in comparison to a timber builder.

I hope this

vaccine will end

the pandemic and bring us back to normal life - and I hope that you opened the eyes of some customers with your post yesterday.

No matter how you twist and turn it today: you should be ashamed. "

Roofing company Mentrup reaps a storm of indignant reactions and announces a press conference

But while the vast majority of comments are negative for the

roofer

, they are also approved.

An obvious

anti-vaccination agent

writes: “Finally an employer who questions and tries to wake up the rest of the sleeping sheep and Merkel pendants.

[sic] "Another thanks you:" Thank you very much for your courage and honesty. "

There's a press conference tomorrow.

A user tries a balance sheet: “5% applause, 95% rejection, bad advertising and damage to business for a rash threat of illegal

dismissals

.

It was probably not worth it. ”Uwe Tecktrup himself has since reacted again and invited to a press conference.

A press conference by a

roofer

discussing

vaccines

speaks.

On his private Facebook page he shared a slogan image: "The greater the roof damage, the better the view of the stars." (Mirko Schmid)
