The Pope sent a message to the President during his flight over the State of Israel on his way to visit Baghdad.

Air traffic controllers in the north sent a recorded message to President Reuven Rivlin from an al-Italy pilot who flew Pope Francis last night (Friday) on his historic flight to Iraq.

The flight was allowed to cross the airspace of the State of Israel on its way from Rome to Baghdad.
