The ban on moving (outside his municipality) is lifted, we will be able to travel throughout the country

", announced the Minister of the Interior, Ales Hojs, to the press.

All stores will also be able to reopen, provided employees undergo regular testing.

The students, some of whom were able to return to school in January, will all be able to return to class after four months of distance learning.

Finally, gatherings will again be authorized, provided that they do not exceed a gauge of 10 people.

The curfew remains in force, however, between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., until the situation improves durably.

In ski resorts, almost all reopened since the end of January, it will now be possible to present a negative test seven days old, and no longer 24 hours, to be able to hit the slopes.

Despite restrictions in place since October, Slovenia has only succeeded in recent weeks in reducing the number of daily infections and hospital patients.

This small country of two million people has recorded nearly 3,700 deaths since the emergence of the pandemic, making it the second most affected country in the EU relative to its population, with 177 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.
