The companion of this woman who was moving in a wheelchair found her in the garden with the two dogs who had bloody mouths, told AFP the deputy prosecutor of Albi Frédéric Cousin.

His body showed bite marks and his clothes were partially torn, he said.

The investigation of the gendarmes must in particular determine if it is the bites of the dogs which caused her death, or if she could have had a cardiac accident or a malaise, before being bitten by these dogs, considered dangerous and whose detention is regulated.

The two rottweillers were taken to a veterinarian to avoid endangering other people.

The companion of the deceased woman informed the deputy prosecutor of his intention to euthanize them.
