The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC, for its acronym in English) asked Americans not to relax preventive measures against the coronavirus.
For his part, the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, announced this Tuesday that it will not be mandatory to wear face masks and that businesses will be able to open at 100% capacity.
Mississippi also reported that it will repeal the mandatory use of masks starting Wednesday.
