Yesterday it was confirmed in the cabinet that Ben Gurion Airport will open this coming Sunday, and the big winners are the vaccinated and the recovering.

Anyone who has not been vaccinated or recovered will have to get permission from the Exceptions Committee to leave the country and return to Israel. He will have to stay in solitary confinement for 10 days with two tests or 14 days without tests.

Starting next week, 1,000 Israelis will be allowed to enter the country a day, while the following week, the number will increase to 3,000.

The Israel Police will be able to monitor the mobile devices using the "summon" and thus help enforce the isolation, 660 inspectors will move between the isolated houses and the electronic bracelet is also expected to come into use.

Starting next week, flights from Israel will open to four destinations in the first phase - Frankfurt, New York, Paris and Kiev.

Two of the destinations allow Israelis to enter.

New York can be entered after presenting a negative corona test and there is a need for isolation.

Many Israelis who have flown to New York recently say that the isolation is not enforced and in any case, it is possible to end the isolation after four days with a negative corona test.

Israelis can also enter Ukraine, but Israel and France do not have Israelis.

Those who are allowed to enter Germany and France have a European passport.

The flights to these two destinations are mainly intended to allow Israelis who are in the same destinations or in their vicinity to return to Israel.

Anyone who wants to make a connection flight to a destination from those destinations will be able to do so.

There are quite a few countries that already accept Israelis - Seychelles and Georgia only accept vaccinated, Greece and Cyprus have already signed an agreement that will allow the vaccinated to rest in their countries, but it has not yet entered into force and is expected to enter soon.

Turkey, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and other countries already allow Israelis to enter their territory, some with restrictions that require short tests or isolation.

The land border crossings are also expected to open at the beginning of next week, probably within the framework of several times a week, and within the framework of the quota allowed for Israelis to enter the country.

In this case, an orderly outline has not yet been formulated.

It is estimated that the number of destinations to which direct flights from Israel will be operated will expand in the coming weeks.

It will start as stated with only four destinations, but the Ministry of Transportation is already building a plan for a wider opening.
