mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the big winner of the Dokaviv 2020 Festival. A tragic love story between a prisoner and a prisoner in Auschwitz.

The young Helena, stormy and full of life, is taken to the Auschwitz death camp.

There he is sponsored by Franz Wench, a senior SS officer who falls in love with her and her mesmerizing singing voice.

The forbidden and dangerous relationship between them continues until the camp is liberated.

Thirty years later Helena receives a letter from Wenches' wife, begging her to come and testify in his favor in the trial against him in Vienna.

She now faces an impossible dilemma: Should she help a brutal SS officer who took the lives of Jews but saved hers along with some of the people closest to her?

mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The story of the concentration camp and the British journalist who broadcast a chilling report in the first moments after the liberation.

On April 15, 1945, when the British army liberated the Bergen-Belsen camp, there were about 60,000 prisoners, most of them in critical condition.

In the first days after the liberation almost 30,000 more prisoners died, who could not be saved.

The British soldiers were struck with astonishment at the sights revealed to them.

The BBC's military correspondent, Richard Dimbleby, broadcast a chilling historical report on April 19 - a rare, real-time testimony to Nazi actions in the concentration camps, describing for 11 minutes and a half the atrocities he witnessed immediately after the camp was liberated.

The report, which did not spare horrific descriptions and shocking diagnoses, was almost rejected for broadcast.

Now, 75 years after the camp was liberated, Jonathan Dimbleby, following in the footsteps of his father Richard, goes to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp site, bringing the camp story with archive footage and testimonies of the survivors, alongside his father's story, which reportedly shocked Britain and resonated around the world.

Many color films during this period were lost in personal archives, which were donated to archive houses and museums from personal collections.

The Coleman TV company has worked with many collectors to bring the materials in full color.

They are presented alongside interviews with some of those dwindling people who lived on May 8, 1945, which became the fateful day marking the Allied victory in Europe.
