The National Risk Management System of Honduras reported this Saturday in a statement that it determined to restrict the movement of people during weekends in four departments of the Central American country, due to the increase in cases of covid-19.

The residents of the departments of Santa Bárbara, in the western area, in addition to Cortés, Atlántida and Yoro, located in the northern area of ​​Honduras, as of this January 31, will circulate on Saturdays and Sundays according to the last digit of their credit card. identity, established the government.

The government also imposed a curfew from 8 pm to 5 am, a time in which only personnel from institutions authorized by the National Risk Management System may circulate.

From Monday to Friday, the movement of people nationwide will occur without restrictions from 5 am to 8 pm

In addition, the authorities are limiting meetings in homes to no more than 10 people and it is established in the provision that the financial and commercial system in general may not have more than 50 percent of its capacity within its facilities.

The restriction measure will be in force, according to the government, until next February 7.

On January 29, the government reported 1,118 new cases of covid-19 nationwide and 26 more deaths.
