Klaus Müller and Manuel Weninger are moving from TSV Peißenberg to the ECP for the coming season.

They are no strangers to the Peitingers.

“It wasn't just yesterday that we started observing how they both worked and are working, and we are absolutely convinced of the quality they bring with them,” says Markus Gleich, full-time junior coordinator at the ECP.

“Both played in the club themselves, Klaus Müller should be well known to the fans.

These obligations have a certain radiance. "

Two old friends at EC Peiting

Müller played for the ECP until 2011 and collected around 180 scorer points in a good 400 league games.

The 36-year-old is to become the head coach of the U13 and then take on more tasks step by step.

Manuel Weninger wore the Peitinger jersey until 2008.

He then played for four years for EA Schongau.

Until recently, the 33-year-old was on the ice for SC Forst in the regional league.

At EC Peiting he will train the U11.

"We are giving both of them the chance to develop personally as trainers," says Gleich.

“We have always said that we strive to have the best people in the region in our club.

That applies to players as well as to coaches. ”In addition, both come from Peiting.

"We noticed that they were interested as soon as the first contact was made and then we argued that we convinced them of a future at the ECP."

Immediately, however, it also sounds serious: “It's a shame that we couldn't really advance our training concept for young people this year.” As a result of the corona pandemic, it is only about keeping the children in line and ensuring that they are in contact with Don't lose ice hockey.

"But as soon as possible, we will tackle things properly again and work future-oriented."
