Mateh Asher's winning streak in the Men's National Cup was interrupted this evening (Tuesday) after losing to Maccabi Tel Aviv in the quarterfinals of the State Volleyball Cup in a dramatic game. The Yellows, who only lost the game of the season, surrendered in the first set, but managed to come back, including a victory in the decisive set, and in the end a sweet 2: 3 - (25: 21,10: 25,25: 15, 22:25, 13:15).
In the other games: Hapoel Kfar Saba defeated Hod Hasharon 0: 3 (18:25, 20:25, 16:25), Hapoel HaMa'apil Emek Hefer / Menashe defeated Hapoel Urbani Kiryat Ata 1: 3 (16:25, 25:23 , 23:25, 17:25), while MS Eilabun defeated KK Tel Aviv (11:25, 12: 25,16: 25) on the way to the next stage.
In the semi-finals that will take place on Monday (March 15) at the Anerbax Hall in Hadera: Hapoel Kfar Saba will meet Eilabun, while Maccabi Tel Aviv will meet Hapoel HaMa'apil.
