The Kochav Yair - Tzur Yigal local council has filed an objection to the Botal Metro plan. At the center of the opposition is the council's demand to extend the M1 branch of the eastern branch by 2 km, so that connectivity will be achieved with the eastern railway in the area of Nir Eliyahu station (Kfar Saba North) .
