It's time for football, finally.

Uncertain barely four days ago, the meeting between PSG and GPSO 92 Issy will take place this Saturday at the Georges-Lefèvre stadium in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (3:15 p.m.).

The demands of the Hauts-de-Seine players have meanwhile been heard by the club management and a compromise has been found.

The training sessions therefore proceeded normally under the direction of Camillo Vaz.

The new coach, former PSG, has been in post for a week after the ouster of Yacine Guesmia, to whom the workforce was very attached.

The day after a first discussion just before training on Tuesday evening between the workforce and its president, Christine Aubère, the club management took up its responsibilities by issuing an internal press release.

The roles of the new coach and the sports director are specified there: the former is in charge of the D1, while Alexandre Barbier takes care of the other teams.

This was one of the main demands of the group of players.

Forget the first leg

After the boycott on Monday, training therefore resumed, with weight training exercises on Wednesday morning, and a session in the field Thursday evening.

A final gallop is scheduled for Friday evening: “It went very well,” says Camillo Vaz.

The first contact was interesting.

Of course, it's still too early to see how this group works, but I've already found them extremely tight-knit, which is always nice for a new coach.

The girls were very receptive.

We played cards on the tables, it was important to tell each other things.

From a sporting point of view, Issy is penultimate in the standings and this is not likely to be arranged with the trip to the undefeated leader of the championship: "We are never safe from a surprise but it would be utopian to to think that we are going there to seek the points of maintenance, warns Vaz.

The goal is to get on the right track in order to continue the interesting things that the team have produced since the break.

It will finally be an opportunity to turn the page on the humiliation of the first leg.

On November 14, Gwennaëlle Butel and her friends had taken fourteen without scoring, a real rout: “I reassure you, we did not discuss it at all together, concludes Camillo Vaz.

This Saturday is the kind of memory that can stay in the minds, but not in the feet. "
