"Abramov needs to sell Bnei Yehuda and needs a little more time" | Israel today

Towards a decision? The supreme court of the association will discuss this morning Beitar Jerusalem's appeal against the control decision and if it is not accepted - the team will find itself in the national league.

The Supreme Court of the Football Association will hear this morning (Monday) at 10:00 a.m. the appeal filed by Beitar Jerusalem against the control's decision to allow it to submit all the documents for submitting the budget for the current season until yesterday, otherwise it will be relegated to national.

The control, of course, did not receive the documents from the Jerusalemites last night and is awaiting the decision that will be made today in the appeal on the matter at the court.

Beitar will take two main positions before the court. The first is that for them the future of the entire club depends on the deal to sell the team to Barak Abramov, but in order for the deal in question to eventually come to fruition, Abramov needs more time, which is why they are asking for an extension until August 15th.

The other claim is that it is not possible to do where and where between teams, and that there are a large number of cases where in the end the control gave the teams an extension of time and did not relegate them or alternatively already announced a relegation and in the end returned it, after the teams provided all the documents and approvals.

Among the cases you can find Hapoel Petah Tikva, Umm Al Fachem and Bnei Sakhnin.

An official from the cave told Israel Hayom in detail: "If we are given more time, Abramov will sell Bnei Yehuda and become the owner of Beitar Jerusalem."

It will be possible to obtain permission from the police (currently there are major difficulties regarding the S.A.), to obtain support from the municipality, but the only obstacle is that Abramov has to sell Bnei Yehuda and he needs more time."

Despite these things, the demand of the police from Barak Abramov, to post a guarantee of NIS 11 million for funds that are supposed to go to Moshe Hogge and the Singularitm company, are a serious obstacle to the deal.

The reason is that Abramov is not interested in putting additional guarantees beyond those on the team, so Beitar is struggling to find a solution to the situation, and without an extension of time they will have difficulty finding one.

Beitar will also present the progress of Abramov's negotiations for the sale of Bnei Yehuda to Moshe Damayo, as another thing that indicates the seriousness of the deal on Abramov's part and that he needs time. In any case, Beitar claims that if the Beitar does not accept their claims, they will address the matter to the Sentence.
