Here are some of my (unused) notes from the past week:
Monday June 7:
The Republicans are, as we know, desperately looking for a candidate: the latter seems to be as rare as a well of clear water in the desert. It happens that I have met, in different places, two of these members having their entries in the summits. They told me the same thing without having concerted: they only see Nicolas Sarkozy! For them, no one "will crush the match" among the current candidates (Xavier Bertrand, Laurent Wauquiez, François Baroin, Éric Ciotti, David Lisnard, Nadine Morano, etc.). He said to himself - I repeat the confidences I heard - that the former head of state would be ready for a return, despite the ongoing trials and possible convictions expected. I admit being skeptical about the underestimation of the judicial aspect,which seems to me to be a ball hanging from Sarkozy's ankle. But it is true that
