His father Chaim told about him with pain: "My father bought him a bag for first grade yesterday, he danced with it all day at home. He will not be able to enjoy this bag. Matan was a good boy, smiling and happy."
Haim told about the day of the accident.
"I saw the car torn apart and everyone was bleeding. We didn't see the little Matan, he was evacuated before we arrived. We are in pain and sad," he said in pain, adding: "My son and daughter in Shaare Zedek and my wife in Ein Kerem. My wife Rivkah, my daughter and my son saw a big white car who accelerates and drives in their direction. There were no cars. Rebecca tried to brake as much as she could. The children were wearing seat belts and my wife was driving slowly."
In conclusion, he said: "Every day we travel on these roads in Judea and Samaria, there is a fear of stone throwing and non-stop accidents. Every day we receive messages from people throughout the Judea and Samaria region. It's a real catastrophe on the roads. It's carnage, killing and loss."
