About three weeks ago, Monas Davor decided to withdraw from the Israeli national team after the storm in which he was involved in the "Guardian of the Walls" operation.
Now that he is no longer wearing the blue and white uniform of the national team, he is solely focused on his success in the German league in the Hoffenheim uniform, and yesterday (Saturday) he finally got down to business when he scored a winning goal for his team in a 3:2 victory over Bochum.
Davor came off the Hoffenheim bench in the 76th minute and in the 88th minute he struck from close range and gave the local fans reasons to smile after the opening round loss to Münchengeldbach.
Davor, who so far has not received too many opportunities from his coach - Andre Breitenreiter, received praise in the German media.
"Davor crowned Hoffenheim's comeback," sport1 wrote, "Hoffenheim can celebrate their first home victory thanks to Monas Davor. The Israeli's late strike made it 2:3 important."

By the way, this is the first goal that Davor has scored in the Bundesliga in eight months, when he did it against Bayern Leverkusen, which Hoffenheim will meet this coming Saturday (4:30 p.m., Sport 1) at Bay Arena.
