Yair Netanyahu, the son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, testified today (Monday) in a mutual defamation lawsuit against an innate organization in the Tel Aviv Labor Court.

Lawyer Gilad Sher, representing Moled, asked Netanyahu to respond to reports that he was living at the state's expense.

"I have never received a shekel from the state, if I have already given a lot. I do not live at the expense of the state, I am not willing to accept this degrading definition," Netanyahu replied.

A minister asked the prime minister's son to indicate his sources of income from 2016 to the present.

Netanyahu replied that "I was a bachelor's student. Today I have a weekly program on Gali Israel radio and study at IDC and receive a monthly salary as an employee."

He added that "the state never paid when I ate at a restaurant."

"At that time I included him in my social circle. About 2017 I visited him at his hotel in New York."

He declined to say whether while spending time with Packer and his ex-partner singer Mariah Carey, security guards were with him.

"I am not elected by the public, I am not a public employee, I am a private person who expresses his opinion on social networks.
