Tears of emotion and tears of exhaustion: The last "crime scene" with Meret Becker was a departure that was exhausted to the extreme. Or do you have a different opinion?

Is the BER airport in mafia hands?

The airport grounds, whose inglorious story was also discussed in the first "crime scene" with the investigative duo Rubin/Karow seven years ago, were teeming with henchmen of the Russian gangsters, who ended up hunting Rubin, Karow and their witness.

On the run from the Bratwa, the Russian mafia, the duo and the wife of the gang boss hunted through a network of tunnels, vents and ducts.

Behind them the Bratwa butchers, in front of them the jet that was supposed to fly the key witness to a strange place and a new identity.

Every obstacle in this very long escape course was used to increase the melodramatic.

A last look in the tunnel, a last kiss before the plane: So the farewell to Meret Becker as Nina Rubin was exhausted to the extreme, loaded with effects and emotions.

Finally, Karow cried out his pain to the skies over Berlin as he held the dead Rubin, who was then probably more than a colleague, in his arms.

In our review we wrote: »As a mafia thriller, the crime thriller gets stuck in the exquisitely photographed glossy violence.

And as a farewell greeting to the outgoing commissioner, he turns a few loops too much with emotion.

(...) In the end, the escaping scenes, which are abstrusely exaggerated in terms of tempo and obstacles, always lead to new, meaningful final moments that you believe less and less.

Last looks, last kisses, you know.

You are really exhausted when the well-deserved farewell tears flow for Meret Becker.«

We gave 6 out of 10 points.

Did you like the crime thriller?

With an emotional farewell like in this 15th and last joint "crime scene" by Meret Becker and Mark Waschke, there must of course be a mourning phase before the surviving commissioner can be teamed up with a new colleague.

In the next, already wacky Berlin crime scene, Waschke investigates solo as Karow.

The thriller will be broadcast in autumn.

At the same time, another episode is in preparation, in which Waschke will be in front of the camera with Corinna Harfouch as a new permanent partner.

It will be filmed later this year and will be broadcast in 2023.
