After another victory of Red Star Belgrade in the Serbian League, coach Diane Stankovic warmed up the atmosphere for the meeting with Barak Becher and his players in the Champions League playoffs

In three days, Maccabi Haifa will step up to one of its most important games in recent years when it hosts Red Star Belgrade for the 1st game in the Champions League playoffs.

After passing Olympiakos and Apollon Limassol, the champion of Israel hopes to make history and qualify for the third time in its history for the group stage of the most important enterprise in Europe.

The task of the greens is not going to be easy at all.

The Serbian champions recorded another league victory yesterday when they defeated Vojdovac 0:4 in the fifth round.

Ex-Maccabi Tel Aviv, Alexander Pešić, scored first (3) and after him Osman Bukari (8), Ben (84) and Mirko Ivanić (88) also entered the scoreboard.

The star has won all seven of its games this season and its total goal difference is 1:28 (1:21 in the league).

In Serbia, they claimed that Diane Stankovic, the coach of the Reds and Whites, played quite a few minutes in a formation that he does not usually play in, in order to mislead the professional team of Maccabi Haifa.

"Diane put a mask on his team's face and did everything to make it difficult for the opponent's scouts," the local media wrote.

Stankovic himself said after the game: "When there is a game every three days it can tire you, but prepare for it. You can feel it when the opposing team prepares for the game for six or seven days unlike you. I am optimistic, Haifa is not an impossible task. In some parts of the game We will have to be more focused and concentrated. We know that the atmosphere in Haifa will be hell, but I believe that here in Belgrade it will be twice as hot."
