Trainer Alex Plabst from SE Freising has a lot of respect for TSV Ampfing.

To make matters worse, the personnel situation is not easing.

Freising

- It's a common thing in professional football: opponents are analyzed in advance, the coaches draw their lessons from it.

Alex Plabst, coach of the regional league team SE Freising, leaves nothing to chance: in the run-up to a game day, he lets a confidante watch the next opponent so that he can be prepared for what his team will face in the next game.

He also had TSV Ampfing, at which the SEF will be a guest on Friday at 7.30 p.m., scouted.

Even twice, in Brunnthal and against Grünwald.

And what the SEF coach was told about the two games should not have pleased him.

TSV Ampfing recently made people sit up and take notice with strong results

“My husband on site told me that it was the best thing he had seen this season,” said Plabst. He didn't get more recordings of the games, "but it didn't need any more". The Ampfinger won 3-0 on Saturday at TSV Brunnthal - they even sabered TSV Grünwald 5-2 on Tuesday. Ampfing had the sovereignty everywhere - "regardless of whether in the air according to standards or on the ground, this is simply the strongest troop in the league". And that, although the TSV currently ranks 15th and is only two points ahead of the direct relegation places.

But those are legacy issues when things didn't work out for the Ampfingern at the beginning of the season.

The team chemistry wasn't right, in the end coach Heiko Baumgärtner resigned.

Rainer Elfinger took over - and since then the handwriting of the experienced coach has become more and more recognizable.

“He put Ampfing in a good physical position,” says Plabst.

“They also have a lot of good footballers.” And especially players who are gradually returning to the squad.

Domagoj Tiric and Andreas Hohlenburger not in the squad

In contrast to the SEF, where those responsible still cannot fall back on the full chapel. Niklas Tatzer and Osaro Aiteniora are injured, and Sebastian Thalhammer's long-term injuries are missing. To make matters worse, Domagoj Tiric and Andreas Hohlenburger are saying goodbye to their one-week vacation for the coming weekend. "We are the clear outsider," explains Plabst, but it is not just about damage limitation. "We want to make the best of it."

Problem: The lark fields are currently keeping up well for 45 minutes, in the second section the steam slowly runs out.

"The grains are getting less," as trainer Alex Plabst puts it.

Some actors, who are currently inevitably regularly appearing, made an honest effort to ensure that the attitude was also right.

“But then they have a hard time.” Either way: The lark fields are targeting at least one meter again this time.

Possible setup:

SE Freising:

Negele - Tatzer, Mayr, Schmid, Zanker - Fischer - Magat, Bittner, Geuenich, Davydov - Brudtloff.
