Rapper and actor O'Shaa Jackson, better known by his stage name Ice Cube, admitted that he lost a salary of nine million dollars because he refused to be vaccinated against the corona virus.
During his participation in the podcast called "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" alongside other rappers, the rapper confirmed a report in the Hollywood Reporter from last year according to which he was removed from the filming of Sony's comedy film "Oh Hell No" directed by Kitao Skorai, after he refused to be vaccinated against the corona virus.
Ice Cube said that the production required all the actors to get vaccinated but he resisted it - and paid dearly.
"I gave up the movie because I didn't want to get the fucking vaccine," said Ice Cube, "I turned down nine million dollars because I didn't want to get the vaccine. Fuck the vaccine, and fuck all of you who tried to get me to get it. I don't know how Hollywood feels about me right now This".
Ice Cube, who was a member of the rap group NWA and signed on as an actor and producer in a series of films, clarified later in the interview that he did not reject the salary, but said that the producers of the film stopped him.
"These fuckers, they didn't give it to me because I didn't agree to get the shot. I didn't reject it. They just won't give it to me. The corona shot, the vaccine. I didn't need it. I didn't get infected with this shit at all. Fuck them."
