"Trust Mané and Gnabry that..." - Lewandowski reveals what he thinks of his Bayern successors

Sadio Mané is to replace the emigrated Robert Lewandowski at Bayern Munich.

The new Catalan has a lot of confidence in his successor in Munich.

Munich – Sadio Mané follows Robert Lewandowski.

The Senegalese is expected to fill the gap at Bayern Munich left by Barca's new star striker.

In numbers, that's a whopping 344 goals in 375 games.

Bayern and Lewandowski got a taste of Mané's nose for goal in the 6-1 opener at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The ex-Liverpooler scored once himself and made an outstanding game.

And Leva?

He followed his former colleagues' game on their cell phones.

He has a lot of confidence in Bayern for the coming season, as he revealed to Bild.

And: "I wish Bayern the best." He also had a word or two to say about his successor Mané.

"I trust Mané and Gnabry to score a lot of goals," said Lewandowski at Bild.

How many?

"20 goals are possible for both of them," believes the Poland international.

What's more, the Bayern squad has "so many dangerous players in attacking midfield and also in attack.

They can compensate for my departure, other players will score more goals."

In fact, Bayern have scored eleven times in the two previous competitive games in the new season (six goals in Frankfurt, five against RB Leipzig in the Supercup).

Mané scored twice.

No wonder that the Senegalese is already being traded as a new fan favorite at FC Bayern.

Lewandowski had never really achieved this status despite numerous goals and titles in his eight years in Munich.

Nevertheless, Lewa is trying to be on good terms with Bayern after his move to FC Barcelona.

According to Lewandowski, Munich's interest in Erling Haaland also has nothing to do with his move to Barca: "It wasn't a problem for me.

I didn't leave because Bayern was interested in Haaland - I understand that. I left because I wanted to fulfill my dream."

Lewandowski has apparently even given up a large salary for his dream of Barca.

If he still earns around twelve million euros net per year at FC Bayern, it is said to be only nine million euros net in Barcelona.

By the way: the new top earner at Bayern is Mané.
