"We cut like Samuel Paty, without empathy": fifteen months in prison for a rapper evoking the assassination of the professor

Arrested Tuesday in Lagny-sur-Marne (Seine-et-Marne), he was sentenced in immediate appearance for apologizing for terrorism, carrying a prohibited category D weapon and concealment of destruction by means dangerous to people, told AFP the Meaux prosecutor's office.

On November 13, a 14-year-old teenager took over the words of this song in class to threaten a teacher from a college in Savigny-le-Temple during a course devoted to freedom of expression.

An investigation had been opened for death threats against a person entrusted with a public service mission by the Melun prosecutor's office.

The teenager, in third grade, who also carried a Taser pulse gun in one of his pockets, was presented to a juvenile judge.

Samuel Paty, professor of history and geography, was beheaded in the middle of the street near his college in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine (Yvelines) on October 16 by an 18-year-old Chechen who accused him of having shown in class caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad.
