A lockdown was declared by Kim Jong-un, who first appeared on television wearing a mask.
After the announcement of a Covid-19 case on May 12, the number of cases of "
fever
" exploded and reached hundreds of thousands of contaminations in the space of a few days.
The balance sheet stood Monday evening at 56 dead, more than 1,483,060 cases of “
fever
” and 663,910 people under treatment, according to the official KCNA agency.
