On Friday, Minister of Culture Michael Piazolo (FW) defended this measure against criticism from parents, teachers' associations and the opposition: “The tests increase safety for the whole school family and are our chance to maintain alternating and face-to-face lessons.” Piazolo spoke of one “Magic square of safety”, with which the risk of infection in schools is to be reduced: hygiene plans, distance lessons for incidences over 100, tests and vaccinations.
17.6 million tests have already been delivered
When asked why the parents couldn't do the self-tests at home, Piazolo replied, “I'm sure most of them would do it at home.
But not all of them. ”For the highest level of safety, however, it is important that everyone at the school is tested.
Sufficient tests have been delivered with 17.6 million pieces.
The self-tests are easy to carry out and without risk and pain.
What the Austrians have been practicing for six weeks must also be achievable in Bavaria, said Piazolo.
Parents who still felt uncomfortable when the students test themselves could switch to PCR tests or rapid tests at doctors, pharmacies or test stations.
In regions with incidences above 100, this test should not be older than 24 hours, in regions below 100 not older than 48 hours.
On the initiative of his party leader to enable tested students to take lessons without a mask, Piazolo said: “Hubert Aiwanger is a very forward-looking politician.
I'm more caught up in the here and now. ”First of all, it is more important to him to get all primary school students back into the classroom in the medium term with the help of compulsory tests.
The deadline for the school week is Friday
The deadline for deciding which rules apply to the next school week is always Friday.
For the coming Monday this means: alternating lessons for the 25 of the 96 Bavarian districts and urban districts with an incidence below 100. That corresponds to around 56 percent of all students.
In all other regions, only the final classes, including the fourth grade, are allowed back into the classroom.
Absurd bureaucracy blossoms are driving the incidence limit in the Weilheim-Schongau district, which like the Fürstenfeldbruck district again exceeded the 100 limit on Friday.
Because the incidence value of the Robert Koch Institute has to be officially published by each district office.
And because in Weilheim, unlike in Fürstenfeldbruck, there is no daily updated online gazette, the incidence counts there from the previous day until the current value was published in the newspaper the next day.
That means: distance lessons in Fürstenfeldbruck.
