Finally a dignified graduation party at the Korbinian-Aigner-Gymnasium.

On Friday, the 135 graduates received their certificates in two groups, namely at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Erding - Deputy headmaster Stefan Grabrucker mentioned in his welcome address, among other things, the seating arrangement that differed from previous years: It no longer existed, it was rather a "standing order", with many loosely arranged standing tables spread over the entire auditorium, with drinks on them .

He liked that and said it should be retained.

"They drink at the expense of the association," said the deputy humorously, immediately connected with the advertising for this association, whose chairman Ulla Dieckmann was certainly happy to hear that.

The "Salon Ensemble" under the direction of Isabel Nißl (piano) played.

All guest speakers were refreshingly brief, including Vice District Administrator Franz Hofstetter, who recalled the difficult conditions under which this high school class had to work.

And he made an announcement as a representative of the material expenditure carrier: The school social work should be “adjusted to the necessary level.” However, he left open what that meant in concrete terms.

Parents' council chairman Markus Herz remarked on the career of the young people: "Of course, the parents interfered far too often." That was just the "so-called education".

There was quite a bit of cheerfulness.

And then there is the Internet, which knows everything, even if it is not always the right one.

"An analogue tip from the ancestors is sometimes quite good."

And then there was the vice-principal's classic graduation speech, who philosophized about the concept of the school-leaving certificate and repeated the words of the headmistress, who was ill at short notice.

"A high school diploma, that also has something to do with morals," he said, recalling virtues such as decency, but also believed that there was no "education to adapt".

It was fitting that the association gave special prizes to those students who had made a special contribution to the school community over the years: Lara Dimitri, Santiago Alexander Gómez, Christopher Greska, Sophia Große Wiesmann, Hye Yun Jong, Lara Kunisch, Emma Maier, Jason Poppel, Melissa Salz and Amelie Wadenspanner received these awards.

Ulla Dieckmann did this together with Deputy Mayor Petra Bauernfeind, who is also a representative of the association, in a surprisingly inconspicuous manner when the graduates left the stage after the actual awarding of their certificates.

The school designed this main act in such a way that the students who were still in school came on stage in groups of no more than three, across the red carpet.

Grabrucker recalled the upcoming school events: "We would be happy to see you again." He said this to the graduates, who were then allowed to be children again: everyone dropped the balloons with their good wishes on command parents take to the air.
