Ambassador Haitham Abu Saeed, Commissioner for the Middle East at the International Commission for Human Rights, stressed that the presence of the Turkish regime forces in Syria is an occupation and a flagrant violation of international law, indicating at the same time that the United States and some Western countries are trying to prolong the crisis, especially by politicizing humanitarian issues.

Abu Saeed added that the terrorist organizations affiliated with the Erdogan regime are using civilians in Idlib Governorate as human shields and preventing them from leaving through the safe passages under different addresses.
Abu Saeed pointed to the false allegations and false accusations that have been received by some parties on humanitarian issues since the beginning of the crisis in Syria.
