American Chloe Daygert won the gold medal against the clock at the World Cycling Championships in Yorkshire, England today.
The track racer delivered a strong performance on the 30.3km track and reached the finish line in 42 minutes 11.57 seconds.
Dutch champion Anemek van Floten was more than a minute from Dijert when she reached midway and also her compatriot Anna van der Breijn, both of whom were unable to face the 22-year-old.
World champion and Olympic road champion van der Breijn won her fourth silver medal in 1: 32 seconds behind Daigert, while Van Floten took the bronze.
