(CNN) - A DNA test has "established with scientific certainty" that Hunter Biden, son of former US vice president Joe Biden, is the father of a baby from an Arkansas woman, according to a motion filed Wednesday by the woman.
The presentation says that Hunter Biden is not expected to "challenge the results of the DNA test or the test process."
Hunter Biden had denied in a previous judicial presentation that he had fathered the child, but he accepted a paternity test in October.
Neither Joe Biden's campaign nor a Hunter Biden lawyer immediately responded to requests for comment.
It is the latest advance that puts the ex-president's son in the spotlight while Joe Biden seeks the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. The news came only hours before 10 Democratic contenders met in Atlanta for a debate.
Hunter Biden has been subject to scrutiny in recent months for his business in Ukraine. The efforts of President Donald Trump to convince the President of Ukraine to investigate the company that reportedly paid Biden up to $ 50,000 a month to be part of its board of directors is the subject of the political trial investigation of The House of Representatives. There is no evidence of irregularities by Biden in Ukraine.
Lunden Alexis Roberts, 28, had filed a lawsuit in May seeking child support and medical care for the child, who was born in August 2018. The last presentation of his lawyers also indicates that Biden family members are eligible for Secret Service protection.
At Wednesday's presentation, Roberts asked the court to reserve the child's name and identification information before the court granted a paternity order as a result of the DNA test.
