An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 was felt this morning (Thursday) in the north of the country, the epicenter of the earthquake in the Haifa area. The Geological Survey confirms that the quake occurred 9 km southwest of Carmel Castle 10 km deep. Police said there were no casualties and no damage.
"The whole building is moving," he told Walla! NEWS Tenant in a 19-story residential tower on Hillel Street in the Hadar neighborhood of Haifa, "the neighbors all went outside to enter the building." He said fortunately no one was injured and that he was not aware of any damage but, "It was scary, as far as we are told, this earthquake is not surprising to you and comes when you do not think about it at all."
