Two men who allegedly threw an e-scooter onto the highway are in custody. According to investigators, they have to answer for attempted murder in tandem with a dangerous traffic intrusion.
Accordingly, the men threw the scooter on Monday evening from a motorway junction in Bochum in front of a tunnel opening of the A40 on the road. Four cars rolled over the e-scooter, two were so badly damaged that they were no longer roadworthy. People were not harmed only by happy circumstances, said a police spokesman.

Thanks to an attentive witness, the two men were soon arrested near the crime scene, the police said. They were very drunk. Men aged 18 and 22 have already been convicted of property damage and dangerous traffic interventions.
