As the dpa reports, thieves have managed to break into the museum , which is currently closed due to the Corona crisis , and steal a painting by Vincent van Gogh . The work, created in 1884, was entitled “ Spring garden. The Parish Garden of Nuenen ”and was on loan from the Groningen Museum. How high the value of the picture is is not yet publicly known. There already seem to be initial insights into the crime scene.
