Britain: singer of indie band Young Rebel Set died

Matthew Chipchase, singer of British rock band Young Rebel Set ("Measure of a Man"), has died unexpectedly. This was announced by the group from the English Stockton-on-Tees on their Facebook page.

"With infinite sadness we have to share the devastating message that Matt, our friend, brother, singer and songwriter has died," wrote his bandmates. "Our thoughts and prayers are with Matt's parents and family, his wife and children."

Nothing is known about the cause of death. Young Rebel Set had just completed a tour of Germany last October. This Friday, the band wanted to give a concert in their hometown. For January appearances were planned in Berlin and Hamburg.
