Off the coast of California, a boat with dozens of passengers on board has caught fire. Several rescue teams have been sent, reported the US Coast Guard on Facebook.
More than 30 people are therefore trapped on the burning ship. The 22-meter-long ship is said to be in the water near the island of Santa Cruz.

According to several media reports, including from CNN and the news agency AP, so far only a part of the team could be saved. In addition, firefighters would fear several dead. Further details are not known yet.
