A protocol to improve the qualitative and quantitative impact of public investments at the territorial level. An agreement was signed in Arezzo, during the annual meeting of Anci, between Cassa depositi e prestiti, Anci and the Institute for finance and the local economy. According to the agreement, Cassa depositi e prestiti will support local administrations in the use of financing instruments and in the development of new products'. Among the points envisaged by the protocol "the promotion within the system of the autonomy of the adoption and the re-use of models, methods and effectively tested tools".
"We want to make the protocol very operational - said Fabrizio Palermo, Cdp managing director - starting from projects carried out by the Municipalities around Italy, identifying the best ones, proposing to all the Municipalities already implemented projects and supporting appropriate financial proposals".
With the new 2019 - 2021 business plan, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has recovered the relationship with the territory aimed at being not only a financial partner but also an operating partner of the local communities with the logic of supporting them in the infrastructure development project and in the adaptation of the existing.
"We wanted to recover a territorial dimension - added Palermo -, we were present only in Rome, today we have decided to be present throughout Italy". In this regard, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has also created a work group that can support the design, management and implementation of the works. "Deposits and loans - said Palermo - is a heritage of all that can put two fundamental factors in place: financial dimension and operations on the territory". The 2019-2021 business plan, he continued, "represents a change of pace, a new push that wants to leverage innovation, inclusion and sustainability with a completely new approach, based on a more solid relationship with the territory, on the will of 'networking' and on the financial and industrial skills that make cash deposits and loans a unique institution in the national context ". Palermo then addressed an invitation to the mayors, on the 'city plans: "Today we are able to support the Municipalities in the realization of works, intercept news and carry them out together with the mayors".
